a weekend in salento.

Back in November, we hopped a bus with a few friends for the two hour journey to Salento, a beautiful, relaxed little town nestled in the mountains outside of Armenia. This place is a dream for any photography lover…it’s a perfect place to amble through the streets, eat street food, poke your head into little artisan tiendas, and people watch. And the color was so yummy! There was so much to see and capture that it was really hard to pick my faves. So…this is a long post. We stayed the night at a dreamy little hostel filled with historical and cultural artifacts and it was also a working farm (fresh cow’s milk in the coffee and eggs from the chickens out back? Yes please!) and the town itself is like a little trip into Colombia’s past. Such a treat.
