A few weeks back, I took a basic SLR photography class with Mark Cafiero. The best part was getting to run around downtown Denver and practice with our cameras. I basically tried to shoot everything in sight, especially because it was the week before Halloween and it was a zombie day or something, and everyone, even little kids, waiters, etc. were dressed up as zombies. At that point, I wasn’t totally comfortable shooting in manual mode, but I promised myself that I would put my camera in manual mode that day and not take it off. And so far I haven’t. Yay for me. Anyway, here are a few pics from the day. The one of the fence was featured as a “Student Image of the Week” on Mark’s website, which made me very happy. Thanks for the photo love, Mark! I loved your class! Check out his workshop website here.
