Last weekend, Dan and I headed north to the coastal city of Cartagena to rendezvous with his hilarious cousin and her family and have a little mini-vacation, which involved a lot of sunshine, sweating, eating, and lazy, careless moseying…basically my kind of vacation. And all I can say is daaay-um. The colors (and I mean COLORS) that snuck into everything and exploded everywhere were so delicious I wanted to drink them. The architecture, the ceviche, the ice cold beers, the sea breezes, the blended lime-coconut juice (a new favorite), the fresh watermelon, the people watching, and that general, permeating, afro-carribbean-latin flava paired with some great company and good laughs….just…yumminess. No wonder Cartagena is becoming such a popular spot these days. Check it. This is a long one.
Great pics Megan. Love the street photography and the pics of all the little details too.

Gorgeous! I love it! I can’t wait to return and enjoy all of it with you. I absolutely love the photo taken from the book store/cafe doorway or window and the man with his arms wide open. There are so many favorites. Keep it coming querida!
