Sigh. I haven’t updated my blog in AGES. It’s shameful. I know. So, while I’m in the middle of a busy season and redesigning and updating my website, I’m making it my goal these next few weeks to share a lot of my 2013 work (2013!! I know!! Ugh) as well as my work from the last year and a half. Also I need about six more hours in a day. So without further ado…
Crested Butte is one of my all-time favorite towns in Colorado, and if I could, I would live there in a heartbeat. The laid-back mountain vibe, the sunshine, the spectacular views, the quirky downtown, the laissez-faire attitude, the Crocs-with-socks-wearing mountain folk meandering around drinking craft beer and chatting about whatever awesome powder day/mountain bike/climb they had that day, the list goes on. It’s just a refreshing place – a place that is perfect for reminding people like me why I am a Colorado lifer.
So when fellow Front Rangers Christine and Doug got in touch with me and told me they were planning a destination wedding at Uley’s Cabin, I don’t even think I let them finish their sentence before I yelled “YES! Take me!” at them, as if they had a choice. Besides, these two had a perfect, kick-ass wedding – one that was fun fun fun from start to finish. It’s also important to note that Doug gave one of the funniest speeches I’ve ever, ever heard at a wedding. Thank you both SO much for inviting me into your day. It was a blast.
