Yes, I know I know. To the seven of you that read this blog, you may have noticed that it’s been a really long time since I’ve posted. I have a good excuse, though! A crazy July filled with lots of photography was also paired with a big move. A really big one. Out of the country. As I write this, I am sitting in our apartment in Manizales, Colombia, listening to salsa music, car horns, and laughing coming from the street. My husband and I accepted teaching jobs at a small bilingual school back in January, and we’ve been preparing for this ever since. We rented our townhouse, put our lives in storage, and got on a plane with seven suitcases and a dog, all for the sake of doing something different to disrupt our perspective for a while. And, so far so good. We are ten days into our two year journey and there is already so much to share. So, stay tuned for lots o’ photos, Colombian style. And for those of you wondering about my availability, I will back in Colorado a few times throughout the year and also back for all of next summer. So hit me up. =)
So without further adieu, I wanted to share just a few frames from an awesome wedding that I shot in early July with the lovely and talented Michele Hart, who made my day by inviting me along to help her out. I adored this wedding. Genuine and warm people, side-splitting laughs, and a whole lotta love.
